The 20-4 win puts us at 2-1 for the season.

 

And, of course, blood is thicker than red dirt;).

Spring Saturday

We started off the day with a t-ball game. Nobody likes to lose, but hopefully we learned a thing or two and will play better next week. 

 

 

 

 

My favorite part...joining as one and giving HIM the glory!

 

E went to the lake with Nana and Papa after the

game and had a blast fishing with Grandpa Gene!

 

 

 

 We are ready for summer:)!

decided to forgo naps (most of us anyway;)...

First T-Ball Game 2013

We started out with a bang this year with a 27-3 win over Ranburne. I wasn't sure if E was going to be up to it after her bout of sickness, but she did awesome! She had several base hits and even got an out while playing outfield...way to go baby girl!!

 Giving HIM the glory!

 

Mrs. Shauna

My babies love to go to Mrs. Shauna's! I can barely get them to crack a smile, but she always works her magic with them. On Tuesday we had dance pictures, and when we got in the car E was telling me that she didn't know that Mrs. Shauna knew her dance people! She struck a pose for me in the parking lot...

My kids aren't the only ones who love Mrs. Shauna:). In 2010, when I was pregnant with Luke, she took this picture of Emma. It hangs on my wall, and I absolutely love it.

 

Naturally, I wanted a similar one of Luke to hang next to it. He is the same age now that she was in her pic, so I scheduled Easter pics. Shauna knew that the most important picture that day was one to match hers. Not only did she get some WONDERFUL pictures, she worked relentlessly until she got this one...

 

I can't wait to get it on my wall!! :)

Just Another Day in Paradise;)

We started the week off at the doctor's office for a wart...yes, I'm that mom. But in my defense it was split open and I didn't want to mess with it and make it worse. 

 

Tuesday morning Luke woke up with "the cough," so I started breathing treatments. Wednesday after nap he woke up and was worse...and he ran a 102 fever most of the night. By Thursday morning BOTH kids were sick! After having no luck finding a sub, I ended up working half a day before taking them to the doctor.

Both tested negative for flu (Praise God!), but Luke has an ear infection and Emma has a croupy cough. She is 100% better today, and he's worse...coughing and runny nose:/. We are hanging out and doing a lot of rocking, playing, and taking it easy. I'm ready for my babies to be back to normal...for their sake and mine;).
