Girls' Day, Cousins & Undies {Oh, My!}

We dropped Luke Man off at Mrs. Elizabeth's around lunch
Wednesday and had a little girls' day with Maz. Shopping
and a trip to Olive Garden may have been on the agenda;).
On Friday afternoon I picked up these five
monkeys and we had a playdate at the park:)
Today we went to Douglasville, where Emma picked out
these for Father's Day...and if you know anything about my
4-year-old you know why he received them a week early:)

Tonight we even had a weeknight supper with friends...
and Justin and I have been staying up late watching
Bama softball  (really just me...he always stays up late
watching something that ends in "ball":)... ROLL TIDE!!

The Disney Fairy

The Disney Fairy (aka Aunt Robin:) sent a package of goodies today! When Emma woke up from her nap she was SO excited to find Minnie on all her new stuff...and of course, she had to try it all on. We even managed to get Luke to try on a few things. Thank you Aunt Robin!! Maybe next summer we can come visit "the Mouse" in person;)!

{Daddy's} Gone Fishin'

Daddy and Uncle Russ left Thursday at lunch heading to Destin for a fishing trip. Now, Daddy has gone on numerous "little trips" in Emma's lifetime and not once has she been bothered by it. She knows the drill...when Daddy's away she gets to keep his pillow warm (meaning she gets to stay up late and sleep with Mama:). Y'all, the girl was pitiful...she cried and cried the first night. I didn't think I would ever get her to settle down. FINALLY we were able to FaceTime Daddy, and she calmed down enough to doze off.
*Obviously, these pics don't depict the breakdown;)
On Friday I took the kids to daycare so I could work in my classroom and clean up the house...and to be quite honest I just needed a little peace after the night we had had on Thursday. I called Aunt Amy that afternoon, and we decided to take the kids to the park to play (my effort to keep the girl busy and her mind off of Daddy). She had fun...we went out to eat (because she LOVES eating at a restaurant;)...then we got home, and it was downhill from there. She cried some more.
By Saturday morning I was worn out. MawMaw called and asked if we wanted to ride to some sort of festival that afternoon. I said yes...in another attempt to keep Emma's mind off of things. I went to pick up Nana and we went to Partners to get some lunch...when in walked the BEST. SURPRISE. EVER! Daddy and Uncle Russ got up and came home a day early...I honestly don't think I've ever been so happy to see that man:)!
