Twins:)

The greatest part of having a child of each sex is that Justin and I both have partners in crime. E went to school with me today to help me work on moving things to my new room...which, by the way, I couldn't have done without her help...while Justin and Luke went to the cow sale. I am envisioning many similar days in our future:).

PawPaw Olen

Tonight after VBS the kids and I walked down to PawPaw Olen's grave, and I decided to take a few pictures. He is the special angel of my girl and the namesake of my boy, and I know he would be is so proud of both of my babies...and their daddy!

Play Date

Today after VBS we went to the Crenshaws' to swim, and we had a blast! We didn't have a whole lot of adult conversation, but we did get to watch these precious babies play together. We definitely need to do it again...soon!

LBC VBS

This week I helped out with VBS at LBC. They do theirs during the day and needed a few extra people, and since I was planning on sending E anyway it worked out great. Christy and I did recreation and had a lot of fun. Here's a look at our week...
Family Night
Today was the last day, so Brother Jerry went up
in the bucket truck...Facing Fear, Trusting God!
Luke thought he was going to get a turn next;)

June

I can't believe June is already here! We ended May with $15 worth of plastic and some water. It was worth every penny:)
Yesterday started off with these too silly geese...
We ended up at the park feeding bread to the fish.
They were jumping like crazy and the kids LOVED it!
We kept the nursery today...
And I told Luke if he wasn't nice he was going to have to
stand in the corner, so he headed on over (laughing the entire
time...that kid is going to make the rest of my hair turn gray:).
This afternoon a rare thing occurred...
my baby girl fell asleep on my chest:)
We had a lazy evening...
And by "we" I mean us, Mickey & Minnie;)

Last Day of K4

Last summer I was heartbroken at the thoughts of my baby girl starting school. Isn't it funny how God always has things worked out even though the human nature in us wants to be in control?

This time was no different. We have had the absolute best year at FACS, complete with the absolute best teacher.

Now I'm sad...and scared...at the thoughts of my baby girl going to kindergarten. But from experience I know that this time next year I'll be looking back wondering why I ever worried.

Our girl learned so much this year...both academically and spiritually...and for that I will forever be grateful. Look at how much she has grown since her first day of K4!
