The Big Apple {NYC 2013}

Thursday night, after working all day and attending a PTO meeting, I finally began to pack for our trip. At 12AM Friday, going on caffeine alone, we pulled out and headed to ATL to catch a flight to NYC! We got there dark and early, parked, and caught the bus to the airport. The excitement is still keeping us going at this point. ;)
It didn't take long for E to pass out once we got on the plane.
We made it to LAG with no problems, which usually
isn't our luck when flying. (See Exhibit A and Exhibit B.)
We hailed a cab and headed to our hotel!
We unpacked, ate corned beef at Carnegie Deli, took a nap,
and headed out for the night. Our first stop was Times Square,
where we caught up with Mickey, Minnie(s), and Elmo. Then
we had to get a pic with Woody and Buzz to send to Luke.
Next stop...FAO Schwarz and the BIG Piano.
We ended our first night with NY pizza, cheesecake, and a cannoli!
Empire State Building
First stop...Macy's!
Back on the bus:)

She was resting up for her big night on Broadway,
where we saw Cinderella. It was AMAZING!!
Day 3: Ferry Tour, Central Park via bicycle
(which we did not peddle;) & The Night Tour! But

We ended the day at our favorite Brazilian restaurant -- Churrascaria Platforma.
The Night Tour...let me just say it was frigid
and their Chinatown purchases from earlier in
the day came in handy...they haven't converted;).
Times Square Ball
Macy's at night
NYC all lit up!
Brooklyn, NY
This morning we started in the city...
learning how to do the YMCA...
while waiting on our flight.
We made it to ATL, where my dad met us for a minute!
And our day ended back in Sweet Home Alabama!
We had a great trip, and I can't wait to go back!!
