Nana and Papa got here Wednesday just as the kids were waking up
from their naps. We took some pics, went to eat at Flounder's, and
then headed to Chick-fil-A for peach milkshakes and playtime!
I don't know why, but the first picture cracks me up:)
Yesterday was the 4th of July. It was a rainy day at the beach, so
we decided to go to Foley and do some school clothes shopping.
We couldn't make a trip to Gulf Shores without stopping at the
Shrimp Basket, where Emma ate crab claws like a champ.
When we got back to the condo the kids got baths so we could
watch fireworks. Another pic that cracks me up is this one. You
gotta love a daddy who will stand IN the tub to wash his girl's
hair because he can't stand the thoughts of leaning over the tub, ha!
The fireworks were awesome, and the best part was that
we could eat popsicles and watch them from our balcony!
This morning we got up and headed back to Sweet Home Alabama
after seven wonderful days away. We had a great trip and can't
wait to go back, but it was good to be in good ole CC tonight
eating homemade biscuits and dumplings at MawMaw Ann's:).
