Emma: The First Year

I really wish I had started this "electronic baby book" before Emma was born! It is such a great way to keep track of everything that happens...because it is so easy to forget! Anyway, I thought I would highlight Emma's first three years in a few posts. Enjoy the "slideshow"!

Emma had jaundice when we came home from the

hospital. Dr. Ray agreed to let us come home, but we

had to keep her under the "biliblanket" except when she ate.

3 Days Old

This is where she laid the majority of the time.

It was so hard not to hold that sweet girl, but trust me...

when the jaundice was gone we made up for it!

Emma is ready for her first shopping trip to Douglasville!

Emma is all dressed up and ready for her first trip to church.

5 Weeks Old

All swaddled up...this is the ONLY way she would sleep!

Emma was Baby Jesus in the Christmas Play!

Yep! I must have been a sweet girl!

Uncle Russ and Aunt April brought me a
very special Christmas gift - my first Bible!

4 Months Old

Emma's first snow...it was too cold to play,

so Daddy built her a snowman and brought it to her! :)

...and sometimes a girl just doesn't want her picture made!

First Beach Trip - 9 Months Old

When Emma was 10 months old she flew for the first time!

We went to Houston, Texas to visit family. She was
amazed at the airplanes as we waited for our flight.

She was such a good baby on the flight!

11 Months Old

Emma started "two-stepping" around 10.5 months,

but she really took off at 11 months!

She was NOT a fan of "digging in" and HATED being dirty!

This girl had a great party and a great first year...she's all worn out!
